My thoughts about Harry Potter:The Cursed Child

Summary
The plot is that of Albus Severus Potter. He fails to meet expectations set by
his peers, such as going to Slytherin instead of Gryffindor as all Potters have.
Albus is resentful about his father, Harry, as people compare him with his famous father
This make him insecure and socially awkward. He don't have any friends. He resorts to
befriending Scorpius Malfoy, who is the son of Draco, who is Harry Potter's arch enemy
during school days.
Albus steals an illegal time turner and attempts to save Cedric Diggory, Harry's friend who
died in book 4 of the Harry Potter series. This results in many new catastrophic timelines.
This leads to the rise of Voldemort, the main villain in Harry Potter series.
Albus manages to save the world through an alternate timeline accidently
created in an attempt to save Cedric Diggory. Albus eventually reforms and finally becomes a hero.
This forms the whole book.

Although a fine literary work in and of itself , it fails to meet the expectations set by
the masterpieces that were the previous 7 books of the Harry Potter franchise as it is not J.K.Rowling's original style of writing and it is not the masterpiece I was expecting.
In short this is a good book but not as good as the Harry Potter novels.
